SBERRY LLC ("we", "our", or "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy details the data practices of the CastIt application suite, which includes the CastIt mobile application (iOS) and the CastIt - Receiver television application (Fire TV).

Zero Data Collection Policy: We do not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information, usage analytics, device identifiers, or browsing histories. Your media casting occurs entirely on your local home network.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

Because privacy is a core pillar of our product design, our applications are built to operate without any server-side database requirements:

  • No Personal Identifiers: We do not ask for or collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account details.
  • No Usage History: We do not track, log, or store the web page URLs, videos, or media content you cast to your receiver.
  • No Device Tracking: We do not collect device IDs, IP addresses (except to establish local network sockets), MAC addresses, or location data.

2. How the App Works (Local Network Operations)

CastIt establishes a direct peer-to-peer connection between your mobile device and your TV screen:

  • Discovery: The mobile app searches for TV receivers on your local Wi-Fi network using standard SSDP/DIAL and Bonjour (mDNS) protocols.
  • Casting: Media streams and casting control commands (play, pause, seek, volume adjustments) are sent directly via local HTTP POST requests to your TV receiver.
  • Encryption & Security: No data leaves your local router. There is no cloud component or intermediate internet proxy server involved in your casting streams.

3. Third-Party Web Browsing

The CastIt mobile application includes an in-app web browser to allow you to locate web video files to cast to your TV. While you browse the web, all browsing activity is handled locally. We do not inspect, log, or track your browsing activity.

4. Children's Privacy

Since we do not collect any personal information whatsoever, our applications are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and do not gather data from any users, including children under the age of 13.
